  • Showborough House Sculpture Garden

I am very happy and excited to be exhibiting 'Sleeper' a handbuilt stoneware head, in this years Garden Art Exhibition, details as follows:

    ★Thursday 2rd May until Sunday 16th June,

on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays,

    ★Opening hours 10:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m..

    ★Showborough House, Twyning, Gloucestershire, GL20 6DN

★There is no entry charge but donations welcome

Showborough House opens its garden every spring to host the Affordable Garden Art Exhibition. A wide variety of good but affordable sculpture, mostly by local or emerging sculptors, can be seen in the natural setting of the one and a half acre garden. There are works in different sizes, styles and media, including wood, metal, stone, glass, ceramic and resin. Showborough is an informal venue, where visitors are encouraged to enjoy the exhibits and the garden at their own pace, and perhaps to sit and relax with a cup of tea or coffee.

Exhibits are for sale and because Showborough House is a non-profit venture any purchases provide maximum support to the artists.

Showborough lies in the Vale, between the Cotswolds and the Malverns. It is just outside the riverside village of Twyning, between Tewkesbury and Pershore, less than ten minutes drive from the A38, M5 or M50.

Please look at the website to see some of the exhibits, opening times and some advice about directions

Expect to find hand made ceramics, jewellery of all kinds, toys, prints, original artworks, homewares, and plenty of seasonal cheer.

There will also be a variety of workshops on offer, people loved them at the Festival of Making, so far tickets are available for:

Punch Needle Embroidery book via Eventbrite here

Clay Sausage Dog Christmas Decoration book via Eventbrite here

Clay Bear Christmas Decoration book via Eventbrite here

    More coming very soon!

This year we are also going to be doing a silent auction of donated artwork for The Julian Trust Night Shelter – an amazing local charity run by volunteers providing emergency accommodation to people living on Bristol’s streets. about me

I am a Ceramic Artist, working from Bath, Somerset.
